Introduction of Turbocharger
-General Introduction:
The function of turbocharger is to improve the engine intake gas, engine power and torque that can make the car more powerful.
-Principle:
Turbocharger is a kind of air compressor. It can compress air to increase intake volume. It uses inertia momentum of exhaust gas which discharged from the engine to drive the turbine. The turbine drives the coaxial impeller that pressurizes air sent by filter pipe into the cylinder. When the engine speed increases, the speed of exhaust and turbine increase synchronously. The impeller will compress more air into the cylinder. Increased air and density can burn more fuel and adjust the engine to speed up the power.
-Why turbocharger is the right choice
Car has become more common but also very important in our lives nowadays. When we decide to work, travel or go shopping, we need it at the first time. It has already became the essential traffic tool for us. Even though the car becomes more popular, as today’s gas prices rise constantly, most of the people would like to choose a brand which has performance of fast acceleration and fuel-efficient simultaneously.
As the example of the most common 1.8T turbocharged engine, the power can reach up to 2.4L engine. However the fuel consumption is not much higher that 1.8L engine. The perspective of fuel saving and environmental protection is indeed the advantage of turbocharger.

In the case of the same engine displacement, it can increase intake density so that the engine can be more fuel injected. The power and torque of the engine with turbocharger can increase up to 20%-30%.
2. Improve engine emission
Turbocharger engine can reduce the emission of harmful components such as nitrogen oxide from exhaust gas. It is also an indispensable configuration for diesel engines to meet emission standards in Euro. Engines with turbochargers can save fuel by 3%-5%.
3. Provide plateau compensation function.
The air density is relatively thinner in high altitude area. One of the comprehensive functions for turbocharger engine can overcome this kind of environment.
